Vilnius Airport
In July-August 2017, the paved runway was reconstructed at Vilnius International Airport (Lithuania).
Specialists of SIA “Energosintez 2006” performed the dismantling of the old equipment and further supply of the equipment, as well as the construction and installation of the new LED equipment in compliance with the terms of ICAO Category I-II.
It is woth noting that all the main work was done in record time within July 14 – August 17, 2017.
The following amount of works was completed:
– over 70 km of power cable were laid
– more than 900 above-ground and recessed LED lights were installed
– 60 rows of approach and lead-in lights and 55 pulse LED lights on both headings were installed, including masts and racks
– 41 dimmers were installed at 2 light substations
– a new SafeControl ™ Remote Control system was installed, which integrated both control and monitoring of all lighting and meteorological equipment, as well as all components of power supply lines.
All new LED lights are equipped with address internals; the power supply of the lights is carried out according to the advanced System @ 2A (the power of the lighting facilities is carried out at a constant current of 2A, instead of the traditional 6.6A), which made it possible to reduce the power consumption of the lighting facilities by another 30% compared to the systems using the traditional led lights.
